CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State claimed the No. 2 seed in the tournament and will receive a bye into the semifinal round. The Vikings finished the regular season with an 8-2 League record and an overall record of 9-7. The Green and White are returning to the HL postseason for the first time since 2017 when they advanced to the semifinals against UIC.

Oakland earned the 2021 Horizon League regular-season title, No. 1 seed in the championship, and a bye to the semifinal round. The Golden Grizzlies will host the semifinal and championship rounds of the 2021 #HLMSOC Championship on Thursday, November 11, and Saturday, November 13.

Cleveland State will face the highest remaining seed on Thursday at 4 p.m.
