The Game
The Vikings earned the fifth seed in the ASUN tournament and will face fourth-seeded Bellarmine in the first-round tomorrow.

ASUN Tournament Information
The entire 2024 ASUN tournament will be held at Air Force from April 30 through May 5, with first-round games on Tuesday, semifinals on Friday, and the championship game on Sunday.

Last Game Out
Cleveland State capped off the regular season with a 13-8 road victory over Detroit. Alex Van Voorhis finished with a game-best six points on three goals and three assists. Gavin Held was close behind with five points on four goals and an assist. Parker Yearego dished out four assists.

John Alie leads the attack with 40 goals, while Kyle Playsted has dished out 25 assists and has a team-best 54 points. Christopher Reynolds has picked up 41 ground balls, and Grant Guthrie has won 83 faceoffs. JC Higginbotham has made 167 saves between the pipes.

This Season Against Bellarmine
Cleveland State fell to Bellarmine on the road on April 13 by a score of 14-9. The Vikings led 8-6 with 11:23 remaining in the third quarter when the Knights ran off six straight goals to go in front, 12-8, and wouldn't relinquish the lead. Held led the attack with two goals, while Van Voorhis dished out three assists. Connor Kernan made 11 saves in the cage.

Series History
This will be the ninth meeting with Bellarmine holding a 5-3 advantage. The Knights have won four straight with the Vikings last winning in 2021.

NEC in 2025
This will be the final season in the ASUN for Cleveland State before moving over to the NEC for the 2025 season. The Vikings will be one of five affiliated members of the seven-team NEC lacrosse conference, as the Green and White will be joined by fellow Horizon League members Detroit Mercy and Robert Morris. VMI and Mercyhurst make up the two other affiliated members, while the other teams in the conference include core members, Le Moyne, LIU, and Wagner.
