ATLANTA, Ga. – Following the convincing 16-9 victory over Mercer on Saturday, Connor Kernan was named the ASUN Defensive Player of the Week. This is the fourth weekly award for the Vikings and the second for Kernan.

Kernan improved to 5-2 overall with a perfect 3-0 mark at home. The New Freedom, Pa., native made 12 saves to go along with two ground balls and an assist on the final goal of the game.

Kernan has 83 career saves, with 79 of those coming in his senior season, putting him in the fifth spot in the career saves category.
