The Game
The Vikings will look to secure their seventh win of the season tomorrow at home against Queens with a 4 p.m. faceoff.

Last Game Out
Cleveland State is coming off a convincing 16-9 home victory over Mercer on Saturday. The Green and White defense secured a shutout in the second quarter and then, midway through the third, closed the game on a 9-1 run, with all nine goals coming consecutively.

Dylan Tomarchio led the game with five goals, tying for the third most in a single game. Amiri Austin dished out four assists, tying for the fourth most in a contest. Connor Kernan moved to 3-0 in the cage at home this season after making 12 saves to go along with two ground balls and an assist on the final goal of the game.

About Queens
The Royals enter the midweek clash with a 2-7 overall record and a 1-4 mark in the ASUN. Queens has lost three straight and are coming off a 19-5 loss at home to Jacksonville on Saturday. Callin Harris and Jack Royer lead the attack with 13 goals apiece, while Ryan McDaniel is the top assist man with seven.

Grant Isika is 79-of-171 in the faceoff circle with 40 ground balls. Colby Suglia leads the defense with 13 caused turnovers, and Jaco Schreck is close behind with 12. Wesley Wheat has 108 saves in the cage.

Series History
This will be the second meeting between these two teams and the first in Cleveland. Last season, the Vikings prevailed 13-12 behind Gannon Matthew's game-winner with seven seconds left on the clock.

Protecting the Cage
Connor Kernan has 83 career saves, with 79 of those coming in his senior year, putting him in the fifth spot in the career saves category. The New Freedom, Pa., native had played in just three games during his first three seasons but has now played in seven thus far this year.

Scooping-Up the Ball
Evan Moskwa has 155 career ground balls, placing him second in the career rankings. The senior is 110 ground balls shy of the top spot, which is held by Danny Tesler (2017-20).

Cleveland State's faceoff crew of Evan MoskwaCharlie Williams, and Robbie Stewart hold the second through fourth spots in the all-time record book. Moskwa (281), Williams (155), and Stewart (94) are chasing Danny Tesler's mark of 478.

The Green and White were chosen to finish seventh for the second straight season in the preseason poll. Utah took the No. 1 spot after receiving nine first-place votes for 99 points. Jacksonville was second with 82 points and Air Force was third with a first-place vote and 80 points.

NEC in 2025

This will be the final season in the ASUN for Cleveland State before moving over to the NEC for the 2025 season. The Vikings will be one of five affiliated members of the seven-team NEC lacrosse conference, as the Green and White will be joined by fellow Horizon League members Detroit Mercy and Robert Morris. VMI and Mercyhurst make up the two other affiliated members, while the other teams in the conference include core members, Le Moyne, LIU, and Wagner.
