ATLANTA, Ga. – After closing out non-conference play on Saturday with a 10-8 victory over St. Bonaventure, Alex Van Voorhis was named the ASUN Offensive Player of the Week. This is the second offensive award for the Vikings this season and the first for Van Voorhis.

Van Voorhis totaled three goals and an assist for four points. The hat-trick was his second of the year and tied him for the team lead in goals with 11. The senior also leads the team in assists with six. The Columbus, Ohio, native also scooped up a game-best six ground balls.

Van Voorhis and the Vikings open ASUN play on Saturday at Lindenwood with a 2 p.m. start.
