Canisius enters the game with a 1-4 record, dropping their last contest to Air Force on Monday in overtime, 9-8. This will be the first home game of the year for the Grifs. This was the first game all season that the Vikings didn't score first and trailed during the opening quarter. Gannon Matthews scored two goals, raising his team-best total to seven. Cameron Logan made 17 saves, tying for third-most in a single game in program history.
