Batavia, OH-The Cleveland State men's golf team is set for its second tournament of the week as the Vikings head south for the NKU Jewell Invitational at Elks Run Golf Club in Batavia, OH.

The Vikings finished eighth in the rain shortened Don Benbow Invitational hosted by Butler University in Indianapolis earlier this week. The tournament was shortened to 36 holes after heavy rain washed out the final round on Tuesday.

Cleveland State is one of 13 teams in the field this weekend. The Vikings are joined by fellow Horizon League competitors Detroit Mercy, Oakland, Wright State, Youngstown State and host Northern Kentucky.

Cleveland State is making a return trip to the event after finishing in fifth place in last season's Jewell Invitational. The Cleveland State lineup features Andrew Kaye, Brody Simms, Mason Frazier, Dillon Pendergast and Dominik Cosic. The Vikings will start on holes 5-8 in the opening round.

Play begins on Saturday with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start with two rounds scheduled for the first day of tournament play. The final 18 holes will take place on Sunday with tee times scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. off split tees. Live scoring will be available on Golf Genius throughout the tournament.
