Seiverville, TN-The Cleveland State men's golf team is set to tee it up for the second time in the Spring 2024 schedule at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate hosted by Tennessee Tech University. The tournament will be contested over three days with 18 holes scheduled for each day starting on Sunday.
The Vikings will compete alongside 14 other teams at Seiverville Golf Club's River Course. The course will measure 6,891 yards and play to a par of 72 for the tournament. The 90-man field, in addition to 15 individuals, will tee off on split tees with tee times starting at 8:30 a.m. each day.
The Vikings are coming off of an 18th place finish in their opening tournament of the spring at the Wexford Intercollegiate. Cleveland State will compete alongside fellow Horizon League foes Detroit Mercy and Northern Kentucky, in addition to host Tennesee Tech, Morehead State and Evansville among others.
Cleveland State will feature a new starting lineup for this week's event. Alex Anderson makes his first appearance of the season after sitting out the fall and early spring season due to injury. He is joined in the lineup by Brody Simms, Andrew Kaye, Mason Frazier and Dillon Pendergast. Dominik Cosic and Ben Scheeff will compete as individuals.
