Cleveland State Men’s Golf Tees it Up at Butler Spring Invitational

Indianapolis, IN-The Cleveland State men's golf team continues its spring tournament slate with the Don Benbow Butler Spring Invitational which will start tomorrow morning. The tournament will be contested at Highland Country Club outside of Indianapolis. 

The tournament consists of 54 holes, with two rounds scheduled for Monday and the final round on Tuesday. The course at Highland Country Club will play to a par of 70 and measure 6,551 yards for tournament play. Both days are scheduled for 9 a.m. shotgun starts. 

The Vikings will compete alongside 12 other teams. Fellow Horizon League members Detroit Mercy, Green Bay, IUPUI, Purdue Fort Wayne and Youngstown State will also be in the field. 

The Vikings last competed at the Butler Spring Invitational in 2021, finishing fifth as a team. This marks the second consecutive week of competition for Cleveland State after the Vikings finished 16th last week at the ECU Invitational.
