CHESTERTON, Ind. – The Cleveland State men's golf team wrapped up action at the Valpo Fall Invitational Tuesday, finishing seventh in the 17-team field.  

The Valpo Fall Invitational marked the third tournament of the fall for the Vikings, and the third straight week that Cleveland State was in action. 

Cleveland State's top individual finisher was Andrew Kaye, who placed T-13 with rounds of 73-72-75 (220), marking the Vikings' second top-15 finish of the season.  

Jack Hanus finished T-19 after combining for a 222 (72-76-74), including a trio of birdies during his third round today.  

Next up for the Vikings were Jonny Filler and Brody Simms, as Filler placed T-28 after rounds of 75-72-79 (226) and Simms finished T-32 with a three-round total of 227 (73-76-78). 

Gunnar McCollins was Cleveland State's final participant at the Valpo Fall Invitational, as he finished T-45 after combining for a 229 (76-74-79).  

Cleveland State will return to action during the first week of October, when the Vikings host the annual Tom Tontimonia Invite on Monday, October 3 and Tuesday, October 4.
