Cleveland State Men’s Golf Continues Fall Slate At Valpo Fall Invitational 

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State men's golf team will continue its busy fall slate this week, participating in the Valpo Fall Invitational.  

The 54-hole tournament will take place on Monday, September 19 and Tuesday, September 20 at the par-72 Sand Creek Country Club in Chesterton, Ind. The field will play 36 holes with a 9:00 a.m. (EST) shotgun start on Monday, while the final round will consist of tee times starting at 8:30 a.m. (EST) on Tuesday. 

This will mark the third of five tournaments for Cleveland State this fall, and the final tournament during the month of September.  

2022-23 SEASON STATISTICS

Over the first two weeks of play, the Vikings have notched a pair of top-20 individual finishes, with David Laib finishing T-15 at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational and Jack Hanus placing T-17 last week at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invite.   

Entering the week, Andrew Kaye leads the team with a 72.6 scoring average, while Hanus owns a 73.8 scoring average on the year.
