DAY ONE RESULTS AND DAY TWO LIVE RESULTS

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Led by second-place Zach Robbins's 1-under first round, the Cleveland State golf program ranked fourth overall as a unit after the opening day of Northern Kentucky's The Jewell tournament at Elks Run Golf Course on Sunday. 

Robbins led the way for the Vikings and finished tied for the tournament lead with six birdies. He also added seven holes of par. Robbins did the majority of his damage on par 4s and par 5s where he finished tied for second in both categories at 1-under on par 4s and 2-under on par 5s, respectively.

Jack Hanus was second for the Vikes in a tie for 10th at 3-over. Hanus tied for 15th at the event in both holes of par (11) and birdies (2). Zak Supelak was right behind in a tie for 21st with a 4-over performance. He posted 10 pars and two birdies. 

Jules Blakely (8-over, tied for 46th) and Gunnar McCollins (10-over, tied for 56th) finished up the scoring group for CSU. 

Andrew Kaye (6-over, tied for 33rd), David Laib (9-over, tied for 53rd) and Mason Frazier (10-over, tied for 56th) also competed for the Vikings as individuals.

As a team, Cleveland State finished with the second-most birdies on the day with 12 overall.

The second and final round of The Jewell will tee off at 8:30 AM ET on Monday, April 11.
