Men’s Golf heads West for Seattle’s Redhawk Invitational

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – The Cleveland State men's golf program is heading west for Seattle University's Redhawk Invitational, starting on Monday, April 4 and running through Tuesday, April 5 at the Chambers Bay Golf Course.

The two-day, 54-hole event will be played over the 7,068-yard Chambers Bay course which features a par of 71. Both days of action will begin with shotgun starts, teeing off at 11 AM ET.

The Vikings will go up against programs from Abilene Christian, Boise State, Boston College, CSUN, Cal Baptist, Delaware, George Washington, Idaho, LaSalle, Lamar, Loyola Chicago, Oregon State, Pacific, Sacramento State, Seton Hall, UC San Diego, UT Arlington, UTEP, UTRGV, Washington, Western Carolina and Wichita State in one of the deepest and most talented fields Cleveland State has played in so far this year. 

The Vikes are coming off a solid showing at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate, where the group was led by Jules Blakely (tied for 24th overall), Zach Robbins (T27th) and Jack Hanus (T32nd). The team's final-round score of 289 was the lowest round posted by CSU so far this Spring season.
