Cleveland State Men's Golf Opens Joe Feaganes Invitational T12

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. – Gunnar McCollins shot rounds of 74-72 and is tied for 28th, and Jonny Filler and Zach Robbins each recorded 2-round totals of 147 to lead Cleveland State on day one of the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational on Monday at the Guyan Golf & Country Club.

DAY ONE RECAP
McCollins began the day with a three-over par round of 74 and followed with a one-over par score of 72, good for 28th in the individual standings.

Filler and Robbins finished day one with identical scores of 73-74 and are each tied for 32nd in the standings. 

Led by the efforts of McCollins, Filler, and Robbins, the Vikings are tied for 12th in the team standings with a score of 294-299. Marshall leads the team standings with a ten-under par score of 558, and Miles Parroco of Northern Kentucky is the frontrunner among individuals with a day one score of 66-67.

Seniors Jules Blakely and Zak Supelak recorded respective scores of 74-76 and 73-77, both for day one totals of 150. Blakely and Supelak are both tied for 58th in a field of 96 competitors in the individual standings. 

The teams will conclude the tournament on Tuesday (Sept. 14) with 18 holes beginning at 8:30 a.m.
