TOURNAMENT RECAP

WESTLAKE, Ohio – Junior Zach Robbins fired a four-under par 67 on the final day of the Tom Tontimonia Invitational on Tuesday at the Lakewood Country Club.

Robbins, who finished tied for 13th overall, got off to a blistering start to his final round. Beginning on the 10th hole, Robbins birdied four of his first six holes and finished his opening nine holes with three consecutive pars to post a 31. He bogeyed the second and third holes, but finished with birdies on eight and nine to finish with a 67.

Cleveland State finished sixth overall in the team standings as the Vikings posted a tournament-best round of 287 on Tuesday. Cleveland State finished with a team score of 872 over the 54 holes.

Jules Blakely and Jack Hanus finished in a tie for 27th overall in the standings. Blakely posted a 75 on the final day, and Hanus posted a one-under par 70 to close out the tournament. Both Blakely and Hanus finished with a three-round total of 220.

Gunnar McCollins shot rounds of 73-73-75 and finished tied for 31st overall, while David Laib posted rounds of 82-73-76 to finish tied for 61st in the standings.

Competing as an individual, Jonny Filler fired rounds of 76-74-82 and finished in a tie for 65th overall.

Bowling Green captured the team title with a score of 837 and Rodrique Vie captured medalist honors with a score of eight-under par 205.
