INDIANAPOLIS – Cleveland State senior Anton Krecic (Columbia Station, Ohio/St. Edward) has been named to the 2019 Horizon League Men's Golf All-Academic Team as selected by the league's faculty athletic representatives.
Krecic earned the honor for the first time in his Cleveland State career.
The Horizon League recognizes student-athletes with seasonal Academic All-League Teams in each of its 19 championship sports. To be eligible for all-academic consideration, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher (based on a 4.00 scale) and have completed at least one year at the member institution, having earned 24 semester hour or 36 quarter hour credits.
Krecic currently sports a 3.53 grade point average and is majoring in operation and supply chain management. He was a two-time All-Horizon League honoree and was the medalist at the 2017 Horizon League Championship along with being selected to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll five times.
Krecic closed out his Cleveland State career this season and was third on the team with a 75.7 scoring average and carded a career-low round of 65 at the Wildcats Invitational on April 9.
