MALVERN, Pa. - Patrick Luth shared medalist honors to help Cleveland State claim a runner-up finish at the Wildcat Invitational that concluded on Tuesday at the par-71, 7,055-yard White Manor Springs CC.

Today's final round was delayed due to thunderstorms in the morning as the field waited until 11:30 am for a shotgun start.

The Vikings carded an even-par round of 284 today to climb two spots in the standings and finish in second place. Lehigh claimed the team title with a 36-hole total of 570, two shots ahead of CSU. Delaware was third, one shot behind the Vikings, while St. John's and host Villanova tied for fourth place at 576.

Luth, who shot a three-under-par 68 in yesterday's first round, made three birdies and three bogeys today en route to a 71. He won his first career tournament and became the first CSU player to win an event since Joey Krecic won the Wright State Invitational in April of 2016.

Luth posted a 36-hole total of 139 (68-71).

Anton Krecic tied for sixth place, using a two-under-par round of 69 today to climb inside the top-10. His round was highlighted by an eagle on the par-5, 11th hole. Krecic finished with a 142 total (73-69).

Krecic played the par-five's in three-under-par over the two days, second best in the field, while his 28 pars over the 36 holes was third best.

Blake Prince used rounds of 73-72 (145) to tie for 21st place, while Nick Infanti tied for 25th place at 146 (74-72) and Joey Krecic was tied for 69th at 152 (79-73).

CSU will be out of action until April 14-15 when the Vikings compete in the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational in Muncie, Ind. It will be the final tournament before the Horizon League Championship.
