Men's Golf Concludes Play at Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. - Mitchell Moore and Paul Minko both fired under par rounds on Tuesday, helping Cleveland State to a 285 at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational.

The event was played at the par-71, 6,523-yard Guyan Golf and CC.

The Vikings finished tied for 10th overall in the 16 team field with a 54-hole total of 858 after rounds of 287 and 286 on Monday.

Belmont won the team title at 834, one shot ahead of Bowling Green. Wichita State was third at 844, while Northern Kentucky (847) and Youngstown State (854) rounded out the top five teams.

Moore used six birdies today to fire a two-under-par 69 and tied for 28th place overall with a 54-hole total of 214 (74-71-69). Pat Luth tied Moore for team-high honors, tying for 28th place with rounds of 72-69-73 (214).

Minko had his best round of the tournament today, shooting a one-under-par 70 that included four birdies.

All five of CSU's scoring golfers who competed in the event had at least one round under par during the tournament.

CSU returns to action on Sept. 27-28 at the Northern Kentucky Collegiate Classic.
