Men's Golf Opens Play at Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational

RESULTS AFTER 36 HOLES

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. - Cleveland State shot rounds of 287 and 285 (573; +5) and is in 10th place after the opening two rounds of the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational that began on Monday.

The 54-hole event is being played at the par-71, 6,523-yard Guyan Golf and CC in Huntington, W. Va.

Junior Pat Luth is CSU's top player after 36 holes with a 141 total. He shot a first round 72 and made five birdies in the afternoon round en route to a two-under-par 69.

Sophomore Joey Krecic shot back-to-back rounds of even-par 71 and is in 24th place at 142, while Mitchell Moore (74-71) and Blake Prince (70-75) are in 48th place with totals of 145.

Prince's first round 70 included an eagle on the par-4, 17th hole. Krecic also had an eagle on the par-5, first hole in the afternoon round as the Vikings were the only team in the field with multiple eagles on day one.

The final round of the tournament will be played on Tuesday.
