Vikings Open Fall Season at Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate

VERONA, N.Y. - The Cleveland State men's golf team carded rounds of 293 and 290 and is in third place out of 15 teams at the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate that began on Sunday at the par-72, 7,105 yard Kaluhyat Golf Course.

Host Missouri leads the event after 36 holes with a 571 total, while Boston College is seven shots behind. CSU is in third at 583, three shots ahead of Xavier. Northern Kentucky rounds out the top-five teams after 36 holes at 590.

Sophomore Joey Krecic opened the tournament with a four-under-par 68 and followed it with an even-par 72 for a 36-hole total of 140.

Paul Minko fired a first round one-under-par 71 and added a second round 74 for a 145 total, while Mitchell Moore carded a second round two-under-par 70 after opening with a 78.

The final round of the event will be played on Monday.
