Raheem Moss

• Led the Vikings with 27 points, his second straight (and fifth career) 20-point effort.

• Was 6-of-9 from three-point to equal his career-high for three-pointers made (old high was 6 vs. Clarion, 12/2/04)

move from seventh to fourth on the CSU career three-point field goals made list.  He passed Anthony Reed (143 from 1990-93), Williams Stanley (144 from 1987-80) and Theo Dixon (146 from 1997-02).  Moss now has 147 career treys.

• Scored 19 of his points in the first half, marking the second straight game he scored 19 points in the opening period.

 

Carlos English

• Handed out a season-high 11 assists, the second-highest single game total in his career. (career high is 12 at Michigan State, 12/16/05)

• The effort was high fourth straight game of six or more assists.

 

Miscellaneous

• The loss, the sixth straight by the Vikings, drops CSU's record to 5-9 overall and 0-2 in Horizon League play.  UIC improves to 7-8 overall and 2-0 in league action.

• UIC head coach Jimmy Collins was not on the sideline for the second straight game for the Flames.  Assistant coach Mark Coomes took over as head coach for the contest.

• The loss is CSU's third straight to the Flames.  The Vikings now trail the all-time series, 31-27, and are 13-13 in games played in the Wolstein Center.

• CSU scored the final seven points of the first half to take a 34-30 lead at the half.  CSU is now 5-4 in games it leads at half.

• The Vikings were out-rebounded 36-25, the largest rebounding margin by a Viking opponent this year.
