Cleveland State vs. Chicago State

Raheem Moss

• Led the Vikings with a career-high 28 points, going 11-for-20 from the field.

• Made 3 three-pointers to move past Greg Allen (1988-93) and into 7th place on the CSU career list with 141 three-point fields goals made.

• He matched his season high of 19 points in the first half alone, going 7-for-12 from the field with two treys.

• Added a career-high 10 rebounds (old high was 9 vs. Youngstown State, 1/28/06) for his first career double-double.

 

J'Nathan Bullock

• Scored 8 points with a career-high 12 rebounds and 3 assists.

 

Patrick Tatham

• Scored in double figures for only the second time this season, finishing with 11 points.

• Added a season-high matching 8 rebounds.

 

Joe Davis

• Scored in double figures for the 6th time this year, finishing with 12 points.

 

Miscellaneous

Chicago State head coach Kevin Jones did not make the trip to Cleveland "as a result of an incident involving members of the men's basketball team," the university announced before game time.  Assistant coach Jason Kent served as head coach.

Chicago State was also without the services of starting forward Cam-Ron Clay and reserve guard Kevin Jones, Jr., neither of whom made the trip.

• The game was the first meeting ever between Cleveland State and Chicago State.

Cleveland State led 37-31 at the half, the ninth time in 13 games that the Vikings led at the break (CSU is 5-4 in those games)

• The Vikings ended a two-game streak of being out-rebolunded, owning a slight 48-42 edge on the boards.

• The game was tied at 69-69 at the end of regulation, marking the first time since 1993-94 that CSU played consecutive OT games (Kent State on 12/23/93 & Wright State on 1/5/94).
