This was the 46th meeting all-time between CSU and John Carroll with the Blue Streaks now owning a 32-14 edge. CSU has claimed the last six meetings.
The win improved CSU to 4-2 on the year, including wins in three straight games. It is the longest win streak since the Vikings claimed four straight early last season.
The game served as the home opener for the Vikings with CSU improving to 33-41 all-time in home openers.
