CSU Junior Norris Cole
-Recorded his 17th 20-point game of his career (9th this year), finishing with 22 points.
-Raised his career scoring total to 1,070 points, 16th-best in CSU history.
-Added 7 rebounds, 7 assists and one steal.

CSU Sophomore Trey Harmon
-Scored all but two of his 17 points in the first half, his fourth straight double-figure game.
-Went 7-for-7 from the line to improve to 52-for-63 this year (.825) to qualify for the league stats for the first time this season (he would be sixth). He is now 30-for-31 in his last nine games.
-Matched his career high with four steals to raise his season total to 41.

CSU Sophomore Jeremy Montgomery
-Scored in double figures for the 15th straight game, finishing with 15 points.
-Was five-for-11 from the field and made his only trey.

Miscellaneous Notes
-This was the 35th meeting between CSU and Valpo with the Vikings entering the game with a commanding 26-8 series lead, including wins in five of the six meetings since the Crusaders joined the Horizon League three years ago.
-The game pitted two of the hottest teams in the Horizon League. CSU came into the contest having won eight of its last 10 games, including five straight, while Valpo has won seven of its last nine games.
-The win allowed CSU to extend its school-record Horizon League home win streak to 14. The Vikings last home loss against a league school came on Dec. 4, 2008. CSU host Butler on Saturday.
-Valparaiso won the opening tip, marking just the fifth time, in 25 games this year that CSU's Aaron Pogue lost the opening jump ball. He is now 10-2 in league play.
-The first half featured four ties and five lead changes. CSU led by as many as six (30-24, 3:52) in the first half while the Crusaders could manage just a three-point lead (22-19, 6:58). The Vikings led, 34-30, at halftime.
-CSU opened up a 56-39 lead with 9:00 left but Valpo closed to within 69-65 (3:35) but could come no closer.
-D'Aundray Brown, who leads the Horizon League and ranked 13th nationally with 63 steals, made 3 thefts to move in 10th place on the CSU single season steal chart with 66.
-Sophomore forward Aaron Pogue returned to the court after playing just 6 minutes at Loyola last week. He played 15 minutes, scoring 3 points with 2 rebounds and a career-high 4 blocked shots.
-Turnovers were a key as CSU made 13 steals and forced 13 turnovers while committing just 9 turnovers. CSU dominated the Points Off Turnovers, 22-12.
-Freshman forward Charlie Woods, who had scored just 10 points in 14 games this year, set career highs for points (7), rebounds (3) and steals (2).
-The Vikings owned an advantage at the line as well, going 26-for-28 (.929. Valpo was 12-for-21 (.571).
-The one area where Valpo had an edge was on the boards, 31-28. CSU was held to just four offensive rebounds.
-CSU freshman Tim Kamczyc tied his career high with seven points.
