Men's Basketball Falls To Wright State, 87-72

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - Seth Doliboa and Jesse Deister scored 22 points apiece to lead Wright State to an 87-72 victory over Cleveland State on Thursday night.

Wright State (14-8, 6-5 Horizon League) used a 21-8 run midway through the second half to take control of a game that had been contentious to that point. Vern Hollins had six points and Doliboa and Deister had five apiece during a run that started with the Raiders trailing 49-48.

After the run, which lasted a little over seven minutes and ended with 6:56 to play, Wright State maintained a double-digit lead most of the way.

Hollins finished with 11 points, and Cain Doliboa added 17 for Wright State. Seth Doliboa was 8-of-10 from the field and made 4-of-5 freethrows.

Jermaine Robinson led Cleveland State (10-12, 4-7) with 27 points. Andre Williams added 14, Jamaal Harris 11 and Theo Dixson 10.

Both teams shot about 54 percent from the field, but Wright State had a big advantage at the free-throw line, going 19-of-27 compared with 5-of-13 for Cleveland State.
