Omari Westley
• Scored 20 points, his 10th career 20-point game and his fifth this year.
• His scoring total allowed him to retain the Horizon League scoring lead. He is averaging (17.4) points this year, slightly ahead of UW-Milwaukee's Ed McCants (17.2).
• Scored in double figures for the 17th time in 19 games this year.
• Was 12-16 from the foul line, his ninth career game of 10 or more free throw attempts and fifth this year. He leads the Horizon League with 152 free throw attempts this year.

• CSU trailed 44-23 at halftime, its largest halftime deficit this season. The previous high was an 18-point margin at UW-Milwaukee (45-27).
• The Vikings rallied, using a 26-4 run to take a 56-55 lead with 7:10 left in the game. CSU had trailed by as many as 24 (47-23 at 19:44 of the 2nd).
• Cleveland State held Detroit scoreless for nearly eight minutes in the second half, from the 12:17 mark to the 4:44 mark.
• After missing its first eight three-point attempts of the game and going 1-for-9 in the first half (.111), CSU was 8-of-9 in the second half (.889).
• It was a tale of two halves shooting for both teams. CSU was just 7-of-21 (.333) in the first half and 12-19 (.632) in the second half. Detroit shot .643 (18-28) in the first half and .286 (8-28) in the second half.
• The win improved CSU to 5-6 in the Horizon League this year, moving the Vikings into a fourth place tie with Detroit and Wright State.
• The victory snapped a 10-game CSU losing streak to Detroit that dates back to the 2000-01 season. CSU is now 7-28 vs. Detroit.
