Renard Fields

• Came off the bench to turn in his best performance as a Vikings, setting career highs for points (12), rebounds (16), blocks (5) and steals (2).  It was his first career double-double.

• His block total was the second-highest by a Viking this year (6 by Kevin Francis vs. West Va. Tech) (Previous career high:  3 vs. John Carroll, 11/22/06)

• Obliterated his old career rebounding high of 7 vs. Notre Dame, 11/13/06.  It was the most rebounds by a Viking this year (14 Bullock vs. West Virginia Tech).

 

Joe Davis

• Recorded his 11 th double-figure scoring game of the year, finishing with 12 points.

 

Bahaadar Russell

• Scored in double figures for the sixth straight game since moving into the starting lineup, finishing with 11 points.

• Made three three-pointers, his sixth straight game of three or more made.

 

Miscellaneous

• The loss extended Loyola's lead in the all-time series to 21-9, including 11 straight wins.

• The Vikings trailed, 37-21 at half, marking the ninth time this year that CSU was behind at half (CSU was 0-8 in those games).

• CSU opened the second half with an 18-5 run that closed them to 42-39.  CSU tied the game at 45-45 on two free throws by J'Nathan Bullock with 7:08 left.

• After going 1-for-12 from three-point in the first half (.083), CSU made four straight treys to open the second half.

• With Renard Fields leading the way, CSU blocked 10 shots, the second-highest total this year (11 vs. John Carroll) and the 4th most in a single game in CSU history.

• CSU committed just 10 turnovers, its fifth game of 10 or few turnover this year and thiurd time in the last six games.
