CSU Junior Norris Cole
-Scored all but two of his 19 points in the second half
-Struggled from the field (4-14), but was 10-12 from the line.
-He now has 1,024 career points (18th best in CSU history)

CSU Sophomore Jeremy Montgomery
-Reached double figures in scoring for the 11th straight game, finishing with 18 points.
-Was 4-for-6 from three-point
-Ranked second in the league in free throw percentage (.870), he was 4-for-4

CSU Sophomore Trey Harmon
-Scored in double figures for the 13th time this season, finishing with 14
-Was 1-for-3 from three-point, giving him at least one trey in 22 of the 23 games this year.

CSU Junior D'Aundray Brown
-Recorded his second career double-double (both coming in last four games), finishing with 11 points before fouling out with 34.6 seconds left.
-Set his career high with 12 rebounds (old high 11 vs. multiple opponents).
-The Horizon League leader in steals (14th nationally), he set a career high with 6 steals (61 this year)

Miscellaneous Notes
-This is the 73rd meeting between Cleveland State and Youngstown State with each team entering the game having won 36 times. YSU is the most-often played opponent in CSU history.
-CSU lost the jump ball for only the fourth time this season and first in 10 league games (Pogue is 18-4 overall).
-CSU ran off the first nine points of the game before YSU scored on a field goal by Dallas Blocker with 14:32 left. The Penguins started out making just one of their first 16 shots as CSU built a 16-4 lead (12:19). The CSU lead was by as many as 13 (19-6, 10:11) with YSU closing to within six (21-15, 6:16). CSU led 30-21 at the break.
-After YSU pulled to within 32-26 (17:24), the Vikings opened the lead to 17 (52-35, 10:00). YSU would close to within six pm a Bright trey (72-66, 37.2) but CSU made its free throws down the stretch.
-The win was a school-record 13th straight home league win dating back to December of 2008.
-Although the rebounding was close with YSU owning a 36-35 edge, YSU dominated the offensive glass, 16-10.
-Both teams took care of the ball with CSU making 13 turnovers and YSU 13 (CSU had 9 steals).
-CSU, ranked 10th in the league in blocked shots, set a season high with 6 blocks (old high 4 done twice).
-The Vikings were 26-32 from the line (.813).
