Postgame Quotes

Cleveland State Head Coach Gary Waters:
"(Opening Statement) I think we came pretty focused. When you do that you can take care of buisness. I thought they (Cleveland State) were focused on the defensive end. As well as Wright State executed, you have to be prepared on the defensive end, we did well on one day preparation for Wright State."

"(On Pogue and Kamczyc) When Tim gets in foul trouble, our defense hurts. When those two do a good job, its easier for our guards. I liked the way he (Pogue) played tonight. If you hit with any elbow, you can get a flagrant foul. Some coaches teach to get underneath to get the rebound, when you do that you are going to get fouls."

"(On 11-44 WSU shooting) We guard you on the perimeter and if you cannot penetrate us, it's going to be pretty hard for you. It really is pretty hard for you. We can really get up on you and pressure you on the perimeter. The big key to that is Tim Kamczyc; he can pressure his guy, but trap you."

Cleveland State's Aaron Pogue:
"(On playing Wright State) We knew they were a good team, but we wanted to stay on top of the league."

"(On being called on tough fouls) In practice, we are very aggressive. In the game I have to loosen up a little bit. I just let it go and finished up the game."

"(On this year's play) I am just more experienced after sitting on the bench last year. I have room to develop, but I am playing better."

Cleveland State's Jeremy Montgomery:
"(On his good game) On this team, anybody can come out and play well."

"(On the difference on tonight's game) I have been trying to help my team and if my shots are not falling I try to play my man hard. But, it fell good tonight."

Wright State Head Coach Billy Donlon:
"( Opening Statements) Congratulate Cleveland State. I have always admired the toughness of Gary Waters teams."

"( On the game changer) It came down to the first ten minutes. We were not ready for the pace they were playing at. We did not execute our offensive game-plan."

"( On the shooting percentage)It's a combination (of missing shots and CSU defense). A lot of it was Celveland State's defense. I thought that if we could get them to turn the ball over more than us, then we would win. We won that battle and they still won by 20. It will be a differnent team when they come to us."
