Recap |  Final Stats |  Notes

Cleveland State Head Coach Gary Waters:
"I think we did a great job on the defensive end tonight, and the key is that we need to be consistent with the defense. Green Bay really had to work to get shots and that is what we have been working on. I was very impressed defensively tonight."

"The biggest thing for us is to get some wins at home and then get a couple on the road and we will be right back in the league race."

"This game was the best in terms of when we had to get down and grind it out. We maintained our defensive focus and be doing that we were able to control the game."

"When Norris has a good game, we are all going to have a good game. He did a great job of controlling the game tonight even with all of the pressure that was on him. When you play a four guard offense, with only five guards, there isn't much time for rest and Norris and D'Aundray are having to play a lot of minutes but still they are having great games."

Cleveland State's Norris Cole:
"We came out with a good mindset, we came out aggresive and we were glad to be back home and that helped us with the quick start tonight. We didn't turn the ball over as much tonight and when that happens we usually have a good game."

"We know that it is important to put two good halves together and we did that tonight. Our defense stayed consistent and that helped us a lot getting the ball on offense."

Cleveland State's Aaron Pogue:
"In practice I worked on going inside more and that carried over into the game. Everything that we worked on in practice this week payed off for us tonight and that is a good thing to see."

"I'm getting used to the pace of this game, and I'm getting in better shape so that I can keep up with the pace. With the four guards we can get the ball and run and that helps us when it comes to league play."

Green Bay Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk:
"I'm disappointed with my team tonight, the first five minutes set the tone and we certainly didn't play Green Bay basketball tonight. We will go back to the drawing board and fix it for Sunday."

"It seemed like every time we started to come back we would just turn the ball over again. We have never had trouble against a press this year, but tonight it really hurt us and that shouldn't happen when you have a great point guard on the floor."
