CSU senior Norris Cole
- Reached double figures for the 77th time in his career, finishing with 18 points.
- Added a career-high tying 11 assists for his 5th career double-double (3rd this year), regaining the Horizon League assist lead with 101 this season. (Previous high was 11 vs Loyola, 3/2/10).
- The league leader in steals, he made 4 to raise his season total to 49.

CSU junior Trey Harmon
- Scored 18 of his 22 in the first half. It was his fourth 20-point game of the year and the third in 5 games.
- Ranked fourth in the league in three-pointers made (2.1/game), he went 3-for-7

CSU sophomore Josh McCoy
- After scoring just four points in the last three games, he came off the bench to score 8 points with 4 rebounds.
- Was 2-2 from the field and 4-4 from the line.

Miscellaneous Notes
- This was the 49th series meeeting between CSU and Detroit with the Titans now owning a (34-14) series lead.
- The game was tied at 2-2 (18:40) before CSU ran off nine straight points to build a 9-2 lead (15:45). Detroit answered with 10 straight to build a 12-11 lead (11:49). CSU answered with three straight treys, two by Charlie Woods, to take a 20-14 lead. CSU would lead by as many as 11 (29-18, 5:51 & 39-28, 1:21) while UD would come no closer than 4 (32-28, 2:54).
- Detroit regained the lead on a Minnerath basket with 14:47 left (47-46). Four ties and seven lead changes followed, the last coming when CSU, down 60-59 (8:05) ran off nine straight points to take a 68-60 lead (4:58).
- The win improved CSU to 17-3 on the year and moved the Vikings to 6-2 in league play, a half-game behind Valparaiso (5-2). Detroit slipped to 10-10 overall and 4-4 in league play.
- The win allowed the Vikings to tie the Wolstein Center record for consecutive wins with 13 dating back to the end of last season. CSU is now 11-0 at home this year. The last team to defeat CSU at home was Detroit last season. This streak ties the school mark, which was originally set from Dec. 2008 to Nov., 2009.
- With the win, CSU head coach Gary Waters tied Rollie Massimino for third place on the CSU career wins list with 90. Waters is now 90-65 in five seasons at CSU.
- By holding Detroit to under .500 shooting, the Vikings broke the school record with their 20th straight game under that mark. The old school record was set in 1965-66.
- After scoring just four combined points in the last three games, the Vikings bench came through with 23 points, 12 coming in the first half. (CSU was averaging 12.7 points by its bench this season).
- The Viking bench was also responsible for 14 of the team's 27 rebounds.
- The battle of the top two steals leaders in the Horizon League was a draw as CSU had a slight 8-7 edge. Detroit has made two more steals than CSU this year to lead the league.
- Detroit owned a 39-27 rebounding advantage, including 19-10 off the offensive glass for a 26-12 edge in second chance points.
