Cleveland State Head Coach Gary Waters:
"When you are in control of a game and you let a team back in because of your own miscues is disappointing. We will continue to work on that and try to not let that happen again. We are a much better team then what we showed in the last five minutes."

"It's hard for teams to guard us when we play four guards. It allows D'Aundray free shots at the basket which really helps us. We need to get more offensive rebounds, but we did a good job of keeping them off the boards. We weathered a storm in the first half, hitting back-to-back-to-back threes which sparked us for the rest of the game."

"Jeremy really stepped up for us when Norris was out, but he still needs some help. That help came from Jared and Charlie who were able to hit shots when we needed them."

"We are a better defensive team with four guards. We can't really fight off the big guys inside though, which allows them to have a higher shooting percentage."

"If we are still ahead after this next road trip we will be in great shape because they come to us in the next part of the season."

"The biggest problem for us is trying to keep Aaron out of foul trouble. He lives in foul trouble and that just isn't good for us. Tonight was a good win for us when we had to play most of the game without Aaron or Norris."

Cleveland State's Jeremy Montgomery:
"We tried to take Kreps out of the game because he is the team leader and he makes things happen on the floor, and it worked for us."

"I had too many turnovers tonight and that is something that I need to work on moving forward in the season."

"We are putting a big emphasis on free throws in practice, we work on them every practice so that has really helped us this season."

Cleveland State's Norris Cole:
"Some of my fouls weren't necessary and I just need to work on that in practice, because that doesn't help my team at all when I get in foul trouble and I'm sitting on the bench."

"I'm happy that our team stepped up and took the lead when I was on the bench, Charlie and Jeremy really stepped up when I was out."

UIC Head Coach Jimmy Collins:
"I am pleased with some of the progress that we have made. Any time that you go against a Gary Water's team and a Vikings team it is tough. They get loose balls, play defense and are just a tough team to play. We went out and played hard tonight and made progress with our offense and defense."

"What helped us tonight was the effort that we had on the floor. The last minute or so when they had the ball we were all over them and if we wouldn't have fouled I think we would have had a chance. It only takes one or two plays to change the momentum and that was it for us."

"We wanted to get Kreps in the game in the beginning although he has an injury just to see how he plays and responds. We didn't keep him in long because we still have a lot of basketball to play this season. Tonight he pulled defenders off other players which allowed them to make plays, because when Kreps is on the floor you have to guard him."
