Cleveland, OH-Senior forward Tristan Enaruna has been named to the 2024 Horizon League Men's Basketball All-Academic team, the league office announced today. Enaruna is one of five student-athletes named to the team which combines academic success and athletic achievement and is voted on by the league's Faculty Athletics Representatives.

Enaruna has left his mark on Cleveland State since the moment he set foot on campus. He was named First-Team All-Horizon League following his junior season and was selected to compete for his home country, the Netherlands, as part of the Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournament this past summer. He was named to the preseason first team prior to his senior year. Enaruna currently averages 20.3 points per game in league play which ranks fourth among qualifying scorers. He also ranks among the top 15 in rebounds, steals and blocked shots. 

Enaruna is also a standout in the classroom. He carries a 3.49 GPA and was named to the Horizon League Fall Academic Honor Roll following the fall semester. He has been named to the Dean's List in every semester at Cleveland State. His efforts this fall helped the men's basketball team record a 3.16 semester GPA this fall, the highest mark in the Daniyal Robinson era. 

Enaruna is the first Cleveland State men's basketball student-athlete to earn a spot on the league's all-academic team. This marks the second consecutive season that a Viking men's basketball student-athlete has been honored by the league after Deshon Parker was named to the honorable mention team at the end of last season.
