Cleveland, OH-Senior guard Deshon Parker has been named to the Horizon League Men's Basketball All-Academic team, the league announced today. Parker joins two others on the Honorable Mention team, and five others who make up the All-Academic team. 

Parker carries a 3.64 GPA as a Communication Studies major. He has twice been named to the Dean's List and also earned President's List honors once during his time at CSU. Most recently, he was named to the Horizon League's Fall Academic Honor Roll after the fall semester. 

Parker ranks in the top five in the league in assists, and also sports a 2.0 assist-to-turnover ratio. He ranks in the top 25 in the league in scoring at just over 10 points per game. Parker has amassed over 950 points in his college career. 

Parker and the Vikings look to close the regular season strong with a trip to Wisconsin for the final two games before tournament play begins next week. The Vikings sit in second place in the Horizon League standings and have secured a bye to the quarterfinals of the league tournament and a home game next week.
