INDIANAPOLIS – After the team's second consecutive regular-season championship, the Cleveland State men's basketball program took over the podium stand as the Horizon League announced its yearly awards on Monday.

Torrey Patton was picked as an All-League Second Team member while Tre Gomillion collected All-League Third Team and All-Defensive honors. Deante Johnson also joined his teammates on the All-Defensive team as the Vikings took three of the five spots.

For the second straight year, Torrey Patton played his way onto the All-League team with his Second Team honors this season. The senior from Dayton, Ohio recorded averages of 13.6 points, 6.1 boards and 3.5 assists to go with five double-doubles this season. Patton currently ranks seventh in the conference in assists per game, 11thin rebounding and steals per contest, and 12thin the Horizon in total steals (40).
Both Deante Johnson and Tre Gomillion rounded out the All-Defensive team for the Vikings. It was the second straight season that both student-athletes were selected. Gomillion also added an All-League Third Team nod to go with the All-Defensive team selection.
Gomillion dropped averages of 10.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game to go with a 53.2 percent shooting percentage from the field, a mark that ranks second overall in the Horizon. The senior guard took home the league's Defensive Player of the Year a season ago.
