Cleveland State's Contest at Wright State to Air on ESPNU

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State men's basketball game at Wright State on Friday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. has been selected to be televised on ESPNU, the Horizon League and ESPN announced on Wednesday afternoon. The contest will also be aired live on 1420-WHK, 102.5 FM and whkradio.com.

The Vikings' Jan. 15th appearance on ESPNU will be their first regular season game on an ESPN linear network since the 2014-15 season. Cleveland State appeared on an ESPN linear network three times that season: Feb. 13 at Detroit Mercy (ESPNU), Feb. 20 at Green Bay (ESPN2) and Feb. 27 vs. Valparaiso (ESPNU).

Currently sitting atop the Horizon League standings with a perfect 6-0 league record, Cleveland State is off to its best start in league play since the 2007-08 season (7-0). The Vikings, riding a six-game winning streak, are in the middle of their longest winning streak since the 2013-14 campaign (seven games).

Building off of the team's success, Cleveland State Athletics launched Early Bird Pricing for the 2021-22 men's basketball season, a savings of approximately 20%. Fans can either purchase their full season tickets or put down a $50.00 deposit to lock themselves into the Early Bird Pricing. This limited-time offer will end at the conclusion of the 2020-21 season.  In addition, for every ticket deposit or purchase, fans will receive a complimentary CSU basketball hat prior to the 2021-22 season.

Cleveland State is scheduled to be in action this weekend at the Wolstein Center, as the Northern Kentucky Norse come to town. The Vikings and Norse will face off on Friday, Jan. 8 and Saturday, Jan. 9, with tipoff at 7 p.m. Both of the Vikings' contests will be broadcast on ESPN+, as well as on AM-1420, 102.5 FM and www.whkradio.com.
