CLEVELAND, Ohio – Algevon Eichelberger turned in his 16th-straight double-digit scoring outing on Thursday night (Feb. 20), but it wasn't enough as Northern Kentucky took down Cleveland State 73-59 inside the Wolstein Center.

GAME RECAP:
Northern Kentucky jumped out to an early lead in tonight's midweek Horizon League contest. Cleveland State found itself down by as many as 12 points, 22-10, at the 7:39 mark of the opening half.
The Vikings finished the first half of action on a 16-7 run, capped off by a Hugo Ferreira three-pointer, assisted by senior guard Kasheem Thomas.
Heading into the intermission of tonight's tilt, the Norse held a three-point, 29-26, lead.
Torrey Patton began the second half with a triple to tie the game at 29-29; however, Northern Kentucky was able to build a double-digit, 46-35, lead with 13:50 left on the clock, thanks to a Dantez Walton three-pointer.
The Norse paced much of the second half, shooting 16-32 (.500) from the floor. Northern Kentucky's hot hand in the final 20 minutes of play were too much for the Vikings to overcome, resulting in a 73-59 loss.

The Vikings will finish their 2019-20 home games on Saturday, Feb. 22 against Wright State. It will be Senior Day at the Wolstein Center, where the Vikings will recognize seven seniors (managers and players). Tipoff for Saturday's contest is slated for 3 p.m.
