Vikings Fall at Green Bay to Open Wisconsin Swing

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Cleveland State opened its swing through Wisconsin with a 66-44 setback at Green Bay on Thursday night at the Resch Center.

Dontel Highsmith scored 10 points to lead the Vikings, while Stefan Kenic scored nine points with four rebounds and a steal. Kasheem Thomas finished with six points, while Kenny Carpenter and Bobby Word grabbed four rebounds. Tyree Appleby and Jamarcus Hairston both dished out three assists.

The Phoenix raced out to a 32-13 halftime lead and were paced by Khalil Small's 25 points.

Cleveland State (5-17, 2-7 HL) is back in action on Saturday (Jan. 27) when the Vikings play at Milwaukee at 2:00 pm ET.
