South Bend, IN-Cleveland State's men's and women's fencing teams wrapped up a successful day of competition at the DeCicco Duals on Saturday. The two teams claimed six victories overall with the men's team finishing 4-2 overall and the women's team finishing 2-5 on the day.

The men claimed victories over Lawrence, Detroit Mercy, Florida and Northwestern. The women tallied wins over Detroit Mercy and Florida.

This marked the first meet for the Vikings under new head coach Jennifer Oldham, who took over the program on January 16.

Men's Epee had a banner day, with the Vikings winning the weapon in four of the six duals. Cleveland State finished a combined 37-17 on the day.

The Vikings will be back in action again next weekend at the Northwestern Duals on Saturday, February 3, before competing at the Central Collegiate Fencing Conference Championship on February 24-25.
