Cleveland State Fencing Teams Wrap Up OSU Elite Invitational

Columbus, OH-The Cleveland State fencing teams competed Sunday at the OSU Elite Invitational. Both teams competed against stiff competition, with multiple teams ranked among the best in the country in the ten-team field. 

Both teams competed in five dual meets throughout the day. Despite neither team picking up a victory, the women's epee team of Mira Semenets, Rayllen Prafil Capaccio and Lily Robertson were able to claim two victories in a row late in the day in their weapon, winning 5-4 over Denison and 6-3 over Northwestern.

The Vikings are off until January, when the team returns to competition at the DiCicco Duals scheduled for January 27th at the University of Notre Dame.
