COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Cleveland State fencing team returned to action on Saturday, participating in the Ohio State Duals.
On the men's side, the Vikings finished with an 0-4 record on the day, while the women finished with an 0-2 mark.
For the men, Cleveland State's foil unit led the way, picking up six victories on the day, while the epee unit posted five wins in two complete matches.
In addition to the two complete matches, the Vikings and the Buckeyes also competed in two additional saber matches, with Ohio State picking up 5-4 and 7-2 wins.
For the women, both the foil and epee units picked up five victories on the day.
