Women’s Fencing Remains Perfect On The Year Following Duals At Denison

GRANVILLE, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's fencing team returned to action at Denison on Saturday, with the Vikings picking up a pair of wins against the Big Red.

In the first round of the day, the Vikings posted a 19-8 victory, while they followed that up with an 18-9 win in the second round.

Cleveland State's epee unit led the way for the Vikings picking up 15 victories on the day, while the foil unit was right behind with 14. 

In the first round of the day, the Vikings picked up matching 8-1 wins in epee and foil, while the Big Red was able to post a 6-3 sabre victory.

During the second round, Cleveland State posted wins in all three weapons – epee: 7-3, foil: 6-3 and sabre: 5-4.
