Head Coach Andy Tulleners had his thoughts on the teams performance at Detroit Duals.  "After a rather flat start at last weekend's home meet, the men really picked it up this weekend.  David Schultz really applied what we worked on during the week and had his best performance of the season thus far,"  said a happy Tulleners.

On the women's side, the Vikings went 1-3 on the day.  Samantha Finster went 9-1 for the day and Christine Bocci also had a great showing, posting a 9-3 record.

"The women as a whole fenced much better this weekend.  I saw improvement across the whole team.  The biggest improvements were from our women's epee team with Caitlin Thompson and Claire Lewis," said Tulleners.

"Northwestern will be our toughest meet of the season.  This weekend is what we have been preparing for all season."
