Lacrosse

Women's Tennis
-The Vikings will hit the road for a pair of matches this weekend, traveling to Milwaukee on Saturday, April 6 and Chicago State on Sunday, April 7.
-Cleveland State opened its Horizon League slate last time out, picking up a 5-2 victory against Youngstown State.
-With a 6-1 win at No. 3 doubles, Tereze Vevere and Ella Franz recorded their 23rd win of the season, setting a program-record for doubles wins in a single-season.
Men's Tennis
-Cleveland State will remain on the road for a single match this weekend, traveling to Chicago State on Saturday, April 6.
-Last time out, the Vikings remained perfect in #HLTennis play with a 4-3 win at Northern Kentucky and a 6-1 win at IUPUI.
-The trio of Lincoln Battle, Mikael Erler and Carl Gedlitschka went 2-0 in singles play on the weekend, with all three improving to 4-0 against league opponents this year.
Track & Field
-Cleveland State will continue its outdoor slate on Saturday, April 6, participating in the Golden Grizzlies Invite.
-Last time out, the Vikings had a strong showing at the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open, including event wins from Landry Driskel in the Discus and Grace Frye in the Shot Put.
-Overall, the Vikings tallied 14 individual top-10 finishes.
Softball
-Cleveland State will be back on the road to continue the 2024 campaign this weekend, traveling to Green Bay for a three-game series on Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6.
-Last time out, the Vikings opened their home slate with a three-game series against Oakland, earning a 5-3 victory in the final game.
-Entering the third week of #HLSB action, Cleveland State is 3-3 in league play.
Men's Golf
-The Vikings will continue the spring campaign at the Don Benbow Spring Invitational hosted by Butler on Monday, April 1 and Tuesday, April 2.
-Cleveland State is one of 14 teams in the field for the 54-hole tournament.
-This will be the third of six tournaments for the Vikings this spring.
Women's Golf
-Cleveland State will be back in action at the Colonel Classic hosted by Eastern Kentucky on Monday, April 1 and Tuesday, April 2.
-The Vikings will be one of 15 teams in the 54-hole event.
-Last time out, the Vikings were paced by Kaitlin Kormuth at the NKU Julie Invitational, as she won the tournament with rounds of 73-72.
Viking Of The Week Nominations
Landry Driskel, Track & Field
Won the Discus at the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open with a mark of 42.28, while also placing third in the Shot Put with a mark of 12.02.
Mikael Erler, Men's Tennis
Won a pair of straight-set matches at No. 2 singles, helping the Vikings pick up wins at Northern Kentucky and IUPUI to remain perfect in #HLTennis play this season.
Kaitlin Kormuth, Women's Golf
Carded rounds of 73-72 to win the NKU Julie Invitational by three strokes, her first-ever tournament victory.
