"We are thrilled to announce our newest class of Hall of Fame inductees, and we are looking forward to honoring all of the tremendous achievements of Dominique, Norris, Natalie, William, and Brad during our 2023 CSU Athletics Hall of Fame celebration," said Scott Garrett, CSU Vice President and Director of Athletics. "This will be a special weekend for all five inductees, and we can't wait to celebrate them alongside their family, friends and former teammates."

Butler (2005-09) was an integral part of building a women's basketball team that captured the program's first-ever Horizon League Tournament Championship during the 2007-08 season. As a two-time Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year, Butler became just the third player in league history to be named to the league's All-Defensive Team four times – earning the distinction after every season that she wore the Green & White.

As one of just two players in school history with 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 250 steals, Butler graduated ranked in the top-10 in the CSU Career Record Book in all three categories – points (1,158), rebounds (670) and steals (296). Butler lead the Horizon League in steals as a freshman and sophomore, while she became one of just three players in program history to record 10+ steals in a single-game when she notched 10 takeaways at Milwaukee during her final year as a Viking.

During her final two seasons, Butler helped the Vikings to back-to-back 19-win campaigns, marking the first time that Cleveland State had reached the 19-win plateau in over 20 years.

Butler will become the 12th women's basketball student-athlete to be inducted into the Cleveland State Athletics Hall of Fame.

Cole (2007-11) was a mainstay in the men's basketball lineup during his time at Cleveland State, helping the team gain national recognition during his sophomore season when the Vikings captured the 2009 Horizon League Tournament title and upset Wake Forest in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament. As the first player in Horizon League history to be named the Player and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season, Cole guided Cleveland State to three 20-wins seasons during his career, and a trio of postseason appearances (2008 NIT, 2009 NCAA Tournament, 2011 NIT).

Playing in a program record 140 games, Cole graduated ranked in a variety of CSU Career Record Book categories including; points (3rd – 1,978), free throw percentage (3rd - .826), free throws made (3rd – 485), assists (4th – 455), field goals made (4th – 677), and steals (7th – 207). In addition, Cole set a CSU Single-Season Record with 780 points during his senior campaign, while finishing second with 191 assists.

During his senior season, Cole was named one of five finalists for the Bob Cousy Award, while also earning All-America honors from the Associated Press, Mid-Major CollegeHoops.net, Mid-Major College Basketball News, and CollegeInsider.com.

In 2016 Cole became the third player in program history to have his jersey retired, while he will become the 28th men's basketball student-athlete to be inducted into the Cleveland State Athletics Hall of Fame.

Daniels (2008-11) was an integral part of the women's soccer team during her four years at Cleveland State, turning a newly formed program into a yearly contender in the Horizon League. After earning All-Horizon League Second team honors as a freshman and sophomore, Daniels was named to the All-Horizon League First Team as a junior and senior, becoming the first – and only – player in program history to be a four-time All-League honoree.

Daniels, who played and started in all but one game during her time as a Viking, graduated as the Cleveland State career record holder in goals (19), assists (19), points (57), shots (177), and shots on goal (99), with the assists, points, shots, and shots on goal marks still standing today. In addition, Daniels also set CSU Single-Season records for goals (9) and points (23) during the 2010 campaign, both of which still stand today.

As a junior, Daniels helped the Vikings post their first-ever winning season, while Cleveland State followed that up with its first-ever 10-win campaign during her final year. Along with her Horizon League honors, Daniels also earned All-Ohio First Team and Second Team accolades.

Daniels will be the first women's soccer student-athlete to be inducted into the Cleveland State Athletics Hall of Fame.

Reith (Student-Athlete 1964-68; Coach 1995-01) spent time at Cleveland State as a student-athlete and coach, helping to build the fencing program into one of the top teams in the Midwest. As a student-athlete, Reith posted a career record of 110-43, including a 41-7 mark during his senior campaign. A two-time NCAA Qualifier, Reith was named the CSU Athlete of the Year following the 1966-67 season.

During his six seasons as head coach of the Vikings, Reith mentored five All-Americans – including two First Team honorees – while 11 student-athletes qualified for the NCAA Championship under his tutelage.

Reith will become the fifth men's fencing student-athlete and third fencing coach to be inducted into the Cleveland State Athletics Hall of Fame.

Stuver (2009-12) was an integral part of the men's soccer program during his four years at Cleveland State, leading the Vikings to the 2012 Horizon League Tournament Championship – the first Horizon League title for the Vikings. As the only player in program history to be named the Horizon League Goalkeeper of the Year, Stuver ranks third in the CSU Career Record Book with 293 saves, while also ranking third with 20 career shutouts.

As a three-time All-League honoree, Stuver tallied nine shutouts during the 2012 campaign, which is the second most in a single-season at Cleveland State. Stuver was also named the NSCAA National Player of the Week during the 2010 campaign, after helping the Vikings post a 2-1 upset victory over top-ranked Akron. Along with his Horizon League accolades, Stuver was also a two-time NSCAA All-Region honoree.

Stuver will become the 18th men's soccer student-athlete to be inducted into the Cleveland State Athletics Hall of Fame.

In addition, the Vikings will also honor the 10th anniversary of the 2012 Horizon League Tournament Championship team, recognizing the first #HLMSOC Tournament title in program history.

Celebrate. Recognize. Inspire.
As part of the Vikings' yearlong celebration of the 50th anniversary of Title IX, the Cleveland State Department of Athletics will be highlighting additional moments and memories from women's basketball and women's soccer during the Dominique Butler and Natalie Daniels eras leading up to the 2023 Hall of Fame Ceremony.

Cleveland State Athletics Hall of Fame
Cleveland State University created its Athletics Hall of Fame in 1975 to honor student-athletes, coaches and contributors for both on and off-field success, as well as recognizing the importance of these individuals to the CSU community.
