Cleveland State Athletics Recognizes Clark Broida & Marie Kittredge

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State Department of Athletics would like to recognize and thank Clark Broida and his wife Marie Kittredge for their continued support of Viking Athletics.

Through their philanthropic support, Cleveland State Athletics was able to install a new video display board in Woodling Gymnasium in August, that will enhance the student-athlete and fan experience for volleyball, wrestling and men's & women's fencing.

"We're proud of the positive impact that the Cleveland State Athletics Department and its student-athletes have in the greater Cleveland community, and as fans of many CSU teams, we were pleased to support Chuck Voss and the volleyball team, Hannah Burandt and the swim & dive team and Amy Kyler and the softball program. Through various projects, we have been able to show our support for these programs and their student-athletes, and ensure that they have the equipment and support needed to be successful in the classroom, in the community and through competition," said Clark Broida and Marie Kittredge.

In addition to their support of volleyball, wrestling and fencing, Clark and Marie recently made a generous contribution to the men's and women's swim & dive programs, allowing them to purchase new state-of-the-art starting blocks for Busbey Natatorium.

Clark and Marie are also currently providing the lead gift for the renovation of the softball batting cages and bullpen areas at Viking Field, which are projected to be finished for the upcoming 2023 season.

Because of generous supporters like Clark and Marie, Cleveland State student-athletes are able to become Champions in the Classroom, in the Community and through Competition.

Viking fans that are interested in joining Clark and Marie in support of Cleveland State Athletics can call Assistant Athletic Director Brandon Longmeier (216-630-2974) or Senior Associate Athletic Director Bob Heller (412-377-3185) to pledge their contribution for current and future fundraising projects.
