A look at what's happening in Cleveland State Athletics...

Lacrosse
- Cleveland State (6-6) closes a four-game homestand this Saturday, April 13, as it hosts defending NEC champion Robert Morris.
- The Vikings picked up a pair of victories this past week, cruising to wins over Canisius (19-10) and St. Bonaventure (18-5).
- The Vikings scored 13 consecutive goals in the win over Canisius and 10 straight to open the game against SBU.
- CSU now owns six wins this season, a new high for the young program.

Men's Tennis
-Cleveland State (13-7, 2-0) will return to Horizon League play this weekend, traveling to Northern Kentucky (Saturday, April 13) and Wright State (Sunday, April 14) for the final regular season roadswing of the year.
-Last time out, the shorthanded Vikings picked up a 5-2 victory over Case Western, notching their fourth straight win.
-Benjamin Slade picked up a win at No. 3 singles against the Spartans, becoming the sixth Viking all-time to reach 75 career singles wins.

Women's Tennis
-The Vikings (12-7, 5-0) will look to extend their seven-match winstreak when they hit the road for the final time during regular season play this weekend, traveling to Northern Kentucky (Saturday, April 13) and Wright State (Sunday, April 14).
-Last time out Cleveland State remained undefeated in Horizon League play after picking up wins against Oakland (6-1) and Detroit Mercy (5-2), while the Vikings also notched a 6-1 victory against Dayton.
-Kateryna Avram recorded her 20th singles win of the season against the Flyers, while Avram and Lara Prosenjak own perfect 5-0 singles records against league opponents.

Softball
-Cleveland State (10-20, 3-3) will have a busy week ahead, as the Vikings will host Detroit Mercy (Tuesday, April 9-Wednesday, April 10) in a three-game series, and then travel to Youngstown State (Friday, April 12-Saturday, April 13) for a three-game series.
-Last time out the Vikings swept the three-game series against Green Bay, marking the first time they have swept a league opponent at home since 2013.
-In the circle, Hanna Griffin and Kelly Hysong combined for 11 strikeouts on the weekend, with Griffin getting the win in games one and three and Hysong picking up the victory in the second game of the series.

Men's Golf
-Cleveland State will have a busy week ahead, as the Vikings will participate in the Spring Wildcat Invitational on Monday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 9, and will then take part in the Wright State Invitational on Sunday, April 14 and Monday, April 15.
-Heading into the week, Zach Robbins leads the Vikings with a 77.6 average after two tournaments this spring.

Women's Golf
-The Vikings will participate in their final tune-up before the Horizon League Championship this weekend, competing in the YSU Spring Invitational on Saturday, April 13.
-Last time out, the Vikings finished seventh at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational, paced by Kaylee Neumeister who finished tied for sixth with a two-round total of 149.
-So far this spring, Neumeister leads the Vikings with a 75.6 average and has recorded two top-ten finishes. 

Outdoor Track & Field
-Cleveland State will return to action at the Ball State Challenge on Saturday, April 13, participating in its third of seven outdoor meets this spring.
-Entering the weekend, Tylar Mixon (200-25.34) and Mijah Collier (100H-14.77) own the third fastest times among Horizon League runners so far this spring, while both times also represent program records.

Viking Of The Week
Kelly Hysong, Softball
The junior helped lead Cleveland State to a series sweep of Green Bay by going 1-0 in the circle and also registered a save. She tossed a complete-game shutout in the second game of the series, while she came on in the seventh inning of the final game with runners on first and second and the Vikings clinging to a 5-4 lead and recorded a strikeout to earn her first save of the year. At the plate, she was 3-for-10 with a double, home run and three RBI against the Phoenix.
