A look at what's happening in Cleveland State Athletics...

Lacrosse
-Cleveland State will continue a four-game homestand with a pair of contests this week.
-The Vikings will host Canisius Tuesday, April 2, as part of Military Appreciation Night before welcoming St. Bonaventure Saturday, April 6, as part of Community Day.
-Cleveland State was off this past week and was most recently in action March 23, when it dropped a 15-11 decision to No. 1 Penn State.

Men's Tennis
-Cleveland State (12-7, 2-0) will take a break from Horizon League play this weekend, hosting Case Western Reserve at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6.
-Last time out, the Vikings picked up their second straight #HLMTEN win, earning a 4-3 victory at Youngstown State.
-Benjamin Slade improved to 9-0 in regular season Horizon League matches over the last two years with a win at No. 4 singles, while Clark Bilinovich picked up his team-leading 23rd win at the No. 5 spot.

Women's Tennis
-The Vikings (9-7, 3-0) will have a busy week ahead, as they are set to host a trio of matches in the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion; Dayton (Wednesday, April 3), Oakland (Saturday, April 6) and Detroit Mercy (Sunday, April 7).
-Last time out, Cleveland State remained perfect in Horizon League play, earning a 6-1 victory at Youngstown State to close out the month of March on a four-match winstreak.
-The Vikings are now 3-0 to begin #HLWTEN action for the third time out of the last four years, and notched their first win over YSU since the 2015-16 season.
-The quartet of Kateryna Avram, Lara Prosenjak, Gaby Schoenberg, and Isabella Spindler enter the week with a perfect 3-0 record in league matches, while Avram owns a team-best 19 total singles wins this season.

Outdoor Track & Field
-Cleveland State will take the week off from competition, returning to action at the Ball State Challenge on Saturday, April 13.
-The Vikings had a strong showing at the Fred Hardy Invitational last time out, highlighted by Hannah Gaskins who won the High Jump event with a mark of 1.60.
-Cleveland State posted a pair of program records on the weekend, as Tylar Mixon set a program-best in the 200 Meter Dash (25.34) and Julianne Dorothal recorded a CSU record in the Javelin (34.18).

Men's Golf
-The Vikings will return to action at the Spring Wildcat Invitational in Malvern, Pa. on Monday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 9.
-So far this spring, the Vikings have competed in the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate and the USF Invitational, with senior Zach Robbins leading the Vikings with a 77.6 average through both tournaments.

Women's Golf
-Cleveland State will be back in action this weekend, participating in the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational in Bowling Green, Ohio.
-The Vikings competed in their third tournament of the spring season last time out, placing 12th at the Colonel Classic in Richmond, Ky.
-Ashley Knight led the Vikings finishing tied for 33rd with a three-round total of 233.

Softball
-The Vikings (7-20, 0-3) will play at home for the first time during the 2019 campaign this weekend, hosting Green Bay in a three-game Horizon League series on Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6.
-Last time out, Cleveland State split a doubleheader at Robert Morris in its lone action of the week.
-Entering the week, Kelly Hysong leads the Horizon League with six homeruns this season, while Riley Ries ranks third with 10 doubles on the year.

Viking Of The Week
William Malm, Men's Tennis
The senior picked up a 1-6, 7-5, 6-3 win at No. 6 singles to clinch the 4-3 team victory over Youngstown State last weekend, helping Cleveland State improve to 2-0 in Horizon League play this season. Malm moved into the singles lineup prior to league play, and owns an undefeated singles record against #HLMTEN opponents this season.
