DOVER, Del. – The Cleveland State women's basketball team extended its winstreak to six straight games Monday evening, picking up a 57-49 victory at Delaware State, improving to 6-1 on the season.

· Mariah Miller led the Viking offense finishing with 24 points, while Dana DeGraffenreid added seven and Mariah White chipped in six.
· Isabelle Gradwell finished with a team-high 13 rebounds on the game, while Mariah Miller posted 11 boards.
· As a team, the Vikings finished with seven steals on the game, including two from Dana DeGraffenreid.

· Mariah Miller notched her second straight double-double with her 24 points and 13 rebounds, while her 24 points marked her fifth 20-point game of the year.
· Isabelle Gradwell recorded her first double-digit rebound game of the season with her 13 boards, nine of which came during the first half.
· Cleveland State notched its sixth straight win Monday, marking the team's longest winstreak since the 2012-13 campaign.
· Monday's game marked the first meeting between the two teams, while it also marked the first of a four-game roadswing for the Vikings.

The Vikings were once again able to get out to a fast start at Delaware State, jumping out to a 6-0 lead over the opening minutes of the contest, and then taking a 29-17 advantage into the halftime break.
After starting the second half with a 12-point lead, the Vikings went on a 9-2 run throughout the first part of the third quarter, extending their lead to 38-19 with 5:43 left to play in the frame. The Vikings were then able to hold off a Delaware State run over the closing minutes of the quarter, taking a 41-28 lead into the final 10 minutes of action.
The Vikings were able to regain control of the contest over the first few possessions of the fourth quarter then, as a Dana DeGraffenreid offensive rebound and putback and an Isabelle Gradwell layup put the Vikings up 45-28 just over one minute into the frame.
This lead wouldn't last long for the Vikings though, as Delaware State went on a 15-3 run to close the gap to just five points at 48-43 with 4:25 left to play.
A Mariah Miller offensive rebound and putback stopped the DSU run, and then Miller's ensuing free throw on the and-one play put the Vikings back up by eight at 51-43.
The Vikings were then able to hold strong over the closing minutes of the contest, coming away with the 57-49 victory to improve to 6-1 on the year.
