CLEVELAND, Ohio - Beth Greulich, Jordan Goad and Liz Fazio recently became the third, fourth and fifth players in Cleveland State volleyball history to be selected as honorable mention All-Americans by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Greulich, Goad and Fazio join Jamie Bouyer (2004) and Nickole Kennedy (2005) as the only players in program history to earn the honor.

"This is a tremendous honor for Beth, Jordan and Liz and something they have worked very hard to achieve," head coach Chuck Voss said. "Beth and Liz were our go-to players all year and came through all season long, while Jordan did a tremendous job of running our offense. I feel that this is a big step for our program to have three All-Americans in the same season."

Greulich, a senior right side hitter from Troy, Ohio, capped her final season by becoming just the second player in school history to earn Horizon League Player of the Year honors. She led the league in attack percentage (.328), while also ranking fifth in kills (3.34) and sixth in point (3.76).

Goad, a sophomore setter from Toledo, Ohio, guided the Viking offense to a league-best and school record .247 attack percentage. She led the Horizon League in assists (10.92), while also ranking second in service aces (0.33).

Fazio, a senior outside hitter from Coventry, Ohio, was the Vikings top outside hitter and arguably the one of the top all-around players in the Horizon League this season. She finished third in the league in kills (3.60) and fifth in points (4.01), while also finishing second on the team with 331 digs.

All three players were selected to the All-Horizon League first team as well as the AVCA All-Midwest Region team. Greulich and Goad were first team picks, while Fazio was an honorable mention selection.

Cleveland State recently completed its best season in over two decades, posting a 26-7 overall record, while capturing its first-ever Horizon League regular season championship.
